Tailing the Komets

Happy practice

The Komets were a loose bunch at practice today, laughing and making jokes. They are all excited about Friday's game at Kalamazoo, looking forward to how they match up against the defending champs. No one was talking trash or anything, but they seemed confident and curious to see how the Wings look. They only have two games this weekend, expect them both to be tough, and then next week they have a very tough schedule going to Rockford on Wednesday before hosting a good Elmira team on Friday and Greg Puhalski's return on Saturday with the Chicago Hounds.

Everyone is healthy, and Daniel Goneau reiterated that he will play tomorrow.

I've definitally noticed that about the team this year, they're a loose bunch and they're always dogging on each other. That's something I havent seen in years.

I love the way that they get along so well. There has been so much internal fighting over the last couple years that it's wonderful to have a team that can have fun with each other, but still be a hard working team.

I am looking forward to the game tomorrow. It is always worth the drive to watch a group like ours play hockey.

This group of guys are a lot of fun. I do like that they all get along with one another. They are all extremely friendly and easy to talk to. This is our best group of guys by far.

There's no way to answer that.

What is this about Chaulker I hear?

I can't wait to see "Nothing at All" and his girls skate into town. What a game that will be.

I'm kinda glad that I'm gonna be away on business for that Chicago game... I dont think I could stomach watching any more Puhalski hockey even though that style will be with the opposing team...

Firrst I hope the K's do a good job and win tongiht. I can't watch, listen, or keep track of them either here or on pointstreak as I hace Blue Jacket-Edmonton tickes.

Now I'm going to be the voice of dissencion (go figure on that one, huh). Chaulk's gone, at least for this year, the team is 7-1-0 and according to Blkae coming together real well. If Chualk would be brought in, he's the 8th vet so we have another problem of someone sitting and we all saw how well that went over with Miller.

Blake, you stated that everyone is healthy, Justin is stating that LaBarre is out with a groin injury...is LaBarre out?

I was told everyone was healthy. It's possibly just a roster move type thing.

Did someone slip this line in:

Only the Chicago Bears have faced an easier slate so far

Does Hit work at the paper?

I'm not exactly sure what's going on with Chaulk. But, what I do know is RIGHT NOW we are fine without him-- don't get me wrong, I'm a big Chaulker fan -- we just don't need him right now. See you guys at K-Zoo and GOO KOMETS!!
