Here is a fresh and interesting topic...or a question of sorts:
Has there been a single roster move made this season in the IHL that has involved the newly affiliated AAHL. Does anyone know if any IHL team sent a player to their "farm team" and if anyone has actually called up anyone from the AAHL as a result of this affiliation?
I think the answer is no, from what I have seen.....but I could be wrong.
If it is no, or only 1 or 2.....was there really any point to this so-called agreement between the 2 leagues??? Other than marketing...which to me....doesn't market very well if you don't actually take advantage of sending down players and calling them up too.
Just wondered.
I know for sure Quad City called up Kyryll Katrych from the Chicago Blaze. He was in Quad Cities camp and didnt make the team and signed for the affiliate, he recently got called up on the 11 of this month.
Thanks.
Good for Haun. I was thinking he might be GOW considering how well he has done.
