Okay, so then my question is this. Since Mac got his suspension and still counted toward the roster, the Komets obvioulsy played a man short for those 15 games. Does the same rule apply with Goalies? And since they'll have to sign a backup, that basically means 3 goalies will be on the roster and take up a spot for a forward or defensman right?

Not if they sign someone was an emergency back-up which they will.

.. Perhaps the league needs to evaluate its referee's and linesman as well. I am not condoning what Timmie did -- HOWEVER .. some of these so call "officials" need to get "control" of some of these games ... NOT to mention the Komets need to leave their skirts in the locker room and start playing "KOMET" hockey!! Timmie should have never had to resort his "slashing" ... Let's "grow some" boys!!!

7 games is crazy stupid. I saw Steven Later baseball swing his stick on at least 3 ocasions last season and get no suspension. Lawmaster got no games for what he did, and I would say that his actions were serious and a gross attempt at injuring a defenseless player.....correct? a guy laying on the ice and he got 13 punches in on him?
Nice job BJ Jones.
Maybe this teaches the Komets to stop allowing their players to take beatings without man-ing up and protecting each other. Play like a team fellas.
