I know many of you don't, but I personally love the new jerseys. They are so cool to see in person, and George was beaming when we took the picture. I always disliked the white shoulder boards on the black road jersey, but I really liked the black shoulder boards on orange jersey. Just my opinion.
I hope to be able to blog during the game, but I can't promise. Rockford has a small press box and it's sometimes difficult to work on. Too bad because the IceHogs have a really class act in Mike Peck for PR and broadcasting.
No, I don't know anything yet about the guys who got the flu.

Did anyone else read the Icehog press release where Martinson praised Watson for his quality play and actually says "Watson has never lost a fight in a Hogs jersey." What a load of crap.

So far all the penalties have been legitimate calls against the Komets. Very easy to call, right in front of the refs. Rockford is definitely forcing the play, but Frenchy is a wall.
