It is incredibly windy here and I haven't even started talking to anyone.

I know many of you don't, but I personally love the new jerseys. They are so cool to see in person, and George was beaming when we took the picture. I always disliked the white shoulder boards on the black road jersey, but I really liked the black shoulder boards on orange jersey. Just my opinion.

I hope to be able to blog during the game, but I can't promise. Rockford has a small press box and it's sometimes difficult to work on. Too bad because the IceHogs have a really class act in Mike Peck for PR and broadcasting.

No, I don't know anything yet about the guys who got the flu.

Nice Win, but two teams that profess their toughness and not one fighting major it looks like Euro hockey is here...Elmira and Kzoo may have played a total of 7 minutes at even strength Searle had to make sure his whistle was working correctly

Lol I used to try and type different depending on if I was communicating with Americans or Canadians. However since most of my communication is with my friends to the north and I kept getting mixed up I just starting using the "Queens English" full time.

As to the toughness=fighting....two different things. You do not need to fight to be tough and from the sounds of it, the Komets dished out more than their share of hits.
