What was Huck thinking while on a 5 on 3 PP?? That was an inexcusable penalty. Didn't need that when we are struggling on the PP. Nick is standing on his head again..

Kind of weird that he skated out for the second and than went right back to the locker-room. I didn't even see him come back to the bench.
Great game!!! Way to pick up two points, and keep two away from Musky!

People around me thought that Guy punched Robinson too. Not sure how they came up with Chewy and a Highstick?
Bobby Bolt is a pansy. Every last Komet player called him a pansy or something that sounds like that at the end of the game when Woods challenged him. Bobby Bolt if I recall, went after some Komet players in Muskegon when the game was all ready over, guess he didn't want to dance tonight? Pansy.
Muskegon sucks without Bouchard. Totally different team.

Muskegons goaltender "pulled a groin". He tried to go to start the 2nd. period and decided against it. Yes, Guy did punch Robinson. That could have been a 5 min major penalty. Hoberg said he didn't see it. Neither of the linesman saw it right. All I know for sure is that Robinson was worthless the rest of the game. That was a great trade-off. Hit him again Guy!
Does anyone, besides me,think that was a pretty bad game for the two best teams in the League. Don't get me wrong a win is a win and I'll take it. Muskegon just didn't look like they wanted to play. Boucher was outstanding when he had to be.

I enjoyed watching the game last night (and no I was not partaking in the cheap beer). The saves that were made were great (in some cases by both goalies) and there were some chippy plays. I really did not miss seeing Bouchard's ugly mug out there either.

Centomo did look a little shook up when Chaulk hit him in the facemask, but I don't think that was the reason he went off.
Now I rarely ever make comments about players because I don't have the skill they have and I know their job is tough. But I have to say Matt Syroczynski needs to man up. That dude has the skill, the size and the talent, but his total lack of physical play is the downfall of his game, IMO, not to mention extremely frustrating to watch. Last night I counted at least 7 times when Syroczynski, in the K's offensive zone, met a Muskegon player along the boards only to try to poke check the puck away from him.
Matt, see, the way this game is played is when an opposing player is trying to skate the puck out of his defensive zone along the boards you try to plant his sorry rear end three rows into the seats. I'm certain at some point during your hockey training some coach yelled at you to take the body instead. You know that taking a guy's body creates a lot more turnovers than stopping by to shake his hands and ask how his day is going.
Maybe Syroczynski is injured. Maybe he feels he is above the IHL and doesn't want to risk injury. Maybe there is some other reason for him not so much as looking cross-eyed at someone along the boards. With his size and ability there is no excuse. Chaulk hits people. I've even seen Shaf initiate contact in the corners. If Syro wants to make it to the big league he better start playing like they do in the big league.

And it's a wonder why Bob Chase called the Fort Wayne bloggers idiots last night at the start of his broadcast. Remember Chase was once the GM of the team. He told the Frankes that they really didn't need to run a business because the bloggers could do it for them. Think about that the next time you bad mouth the Frankes or the the Komet players or we can just do what Chase did and call you idiot bloggers.

Does anyone know if the the league is ever going to train the on-ice officials in bloodborne pathogens regulations? Everyone in the stands was appalled at the linesman who scraped up Todd Robinson's blood from the ice with his skate and then proceeded to pick it up with his unprotected hands. Shouts of idiot were coming from all over the stands.

I gotta tell you the truth, I wasn't too impressed by either team last night. Dschebig was right that for the two top teams, with so much riding on the game, sure played like they both wanted to be somewhere else.
Scarecrow, people in my section were also surprised by the action of the linesman cleaning up the ice. He needs to be educated.
LGKomets, I did not hear the comments Bob Chase made about the bloggers. I'm here, though, to tell you all that I AM NOT AN IDIOT! I AM A MORON! But I'm sure you all knew that.

Why did Bob get out of being GM of the Komets since he's obviously a titan of industry? WOWO must've really laid a massive contract on him to allow him to make more money than he was when he knew everything and made tons of money perfectly running the Komets.

I'm not sure why we saw the Musky team we saw last night. It could've been because of Bouchard. Maybe the Robinson hit was just that good. Maybe because they are losing their hockey next year. It's just hard to think of pros giving up before the end of the season though. Maybe last night was their 75% night. It's hard telling. I guess we should just be happy we got our 2 points and prepare for this weekend.

I think some are just upset that bloggers are so well informed nowadays and have sources for good information... They have to answer questions well before they are prepared to do so and I think it iritates them. I think they prefer the uninformed fan to the informed fan...
I love Bob Chase; but he also said people were crazy when the Kalamazoo rumor leaked out, the Muskegon rumor leaked out, etc... He's looking out for the welfare of the Komets and the league and I think thats great; but you have a large and growing portion of the fanbase that just dont follow the pied piper blindly anymore and ask that most horrible question............why?

Call your fans idiots for blogging on Blakes site. No one is telling the Frankes what to do with their money. Fans are just trying to sort out the stories they are hearing and wondering what to do with their entertainment dollar and hard earned money.....you know, the money that is given to the Frankes to run their team. So without us idiot bloggers/fans, there might not be a team or a league. Next time the Frankes want to call the bloggers and fans idiots, why not come on here and tell them, or grab the microphone for themselves and say it, rather than feed garbage to Bob Chase and make him say it.
I agree with you JR....I love Bob and the way he calls the games and his dedication to the team and this town.....but please don't get Bob involved in this information war where he is telling the listeners that Muskegon is not leaving the IHL for the USHL. And that Kalamazoo is not leaving the IHL for the ECHL....and so on and so forth. Just allow Bob to do his art and call a good hockey game. He shouldn't have to do what LG said he did last night.
I will take this as another message from the owners that they don't like fans discussing the league and its troubles. All is perfect and fine in the IHL I guess. No worries with a 4 or 5 team league next year I guess.
I am also getting the message loud and clear now that the Komets aren't really looking around at the options of going to a different league....it is just lip-service so they can say in the summer that they did lookk around and that staying in the IHL is just the best and only option they have...right? I am a dope I guess because I have my money collected and will pay for my tickets in the next couple of days for next season. I am a dope for just going along with the IHL and the 4 or 5 teams next season. I love the Komets and will support them. Either I am a dope....or what Bob said is more accurate.
I am an idiot.
Thank you

You know what Hit? Bob is entitled to his opinion... I dont agree with it in this instance; but I'm not gonna let it tarnish the respect I have for him and what he's done for Komet hockey...
The way I look at it is this... If all they can come up with is to call us names then they have nothing legitamite to add to the conversation and nothing to contradict our opinions or solid rumors... They cant call us liars or poo stirers because we have added to the discussions, done our homework and been correct on numerous occasions. They dont like the information we are able to dig up because they just cant dismiss it. The information is solid and when its been this solid they can do nothing other than attack us personally.
I just wish people were more tolerant of others ideas opinions, especially when they differ from thiers...
