I just wonder if the AHL,ECHL,CHL has this problem ? And that problem is 1 family running the league!!!!

whats your deal with the Frankes Adam Mapes? Just throw it out on the table so we all know where your coming from.
how can you have anything bad/negative to say about a group of people that have been able to sustain/maintain a minor pro hockey team for 20 years.
lets get it out on the table, why do you hate them so much for keeping hockey here and alive all that time?
This isn't an attack, i just want to know whats going on inside your head.

Are you serious? I"m sorry I just believe that we pay 2 much for this level of hockey....Don't you feel ripped off ? Don't worry Burgee their will always be hockey in Fort Wayne no matter what level !!!!

I'm with you, Burgee....just so you do not feel alone in this. Well, I'm not just saying it so you don't feel alone. That's what I think as well. I'm curious as well as to why people are so upset about this, yet continue to go to the games. I have never, and never will, understand this. If you hate it so much, Adam....why do you continue to follow the Komets, go to games, and line the pockets of people you so obviously despise? You're more than welcome to your opinion, and more than welcome to post it, I have no problem with that. It's what these boards are for. I just wonder why, is all. I have never been able to get anyone to explain that position to me, and wondered if you would do that? I would truly appreciate it!!

I love hockey!!!!period I appreciate your comments didn't mean to get you upset, My position is this we as fans are not getting our bang for our buck!!!! You cannot have owners that also own the rest of the teams and make it, As a Komet fan aren't you tired of keeping almost every team in this league afloat? Like I said I really appreciate your comment......

Some may not like this comment; but the general opinion in the hockey world is that the IHL is the Frankes personal league that they control 100%... If I had a dollar for everytime I've heard the phrase 'of course they've won the title the past 2 years, they own the league,' I'd be a freaking gozillionaire.... And I'm not just talking about other market's fans, I've heard or read comments from media, scouts, agents, etc... It's a real downer, to tell you the truth, and the main reason I want to see the IHL gain some stability/credibility real fast or for the league just to go away so the K's can be in a league where they arent thought to be 'running the show'.... I thank the Frankes every gameday for having hockey in Ft Wayne; but a growing contingent believes they are now holding hockey back in the Fort....
