Tailing the Komets

Injury news

For the first time in forever, there's nothing new, so how about that?!?!? Everybody hit the lottery tonight!

Anyway, Komets General Manager David Franke said goaltender Sebastien Laplante is going full-bore and will play sometime this week. He also thinks defenseman Jake Pence and forward Brad MacMillan might play Wednesday in Bloomington. Defenseman Kevin Bertram is not likely to play this week, but looks like a possibility for next week. Colin Chaulk is also making progress on his foot and is feeling much better. Danko Mironovic might play Wednesday but is more likely to skate Friday or Saturday.

The one bit of cautious news is that Dominic Osman is going to have an MRI on his knee ASAP. Brandon Warner and Olivier Legault are both out indefinitely.

I talked to several team members today, and they all said the younger players are giving this team some needed energy on those third-in-three-nights games and that has made a big difference. They are all hungry to keep their spots.

So since Legault is out and Osman is having an MRI. Anyone think that we will see Potts back in the lineup? He really showed so potential this past weekend.
