Tailing the Komets

Injury update

Just talked to David Franke who said Kaleigh Schrock got hit in the knee Saturday night off a shot from the point by one of his own defenseman. It's bruised, but he's in the lineup tonight.

Brett Smith is likely out at least two more weeks with a concussion, but he's going to see the neurologist tomorrow. Dustin Molle and Chris Auger are both out at least two more weeks because the Komets want to be extra careful with Molle's groin and Auger's concussion this time.

The team is going to reassess after tonight's game, but they will be able to get a new body

Ks also got a big break with Bloomington beating QC. QC's coach must suck, too.

Yeah, if I was the Packers, I'd look to fire that Mike McCarthy guy and trade Aaron Rodgers ASAP.

Thanks, Rick.

Komets playing physical = success. They are taking the body tonight and clearing the front of the net.

$5 says they try to overload the one side and pass it back to Milam for a long blast on this pp.

Good physical game!! Good zone dominance in the second as well as the third. Mav's got lucky with jumbled D positioning. Starenky was a beast tonite, best I've seen him play so far. Lotta work to prepare for Tulsa. I still have faith!! Let's Go Komets!!!

P. S. Happy Birthday Blake

Happy birthday, Blake! :) I don't imagine you have this problem like I did, but here's something funny anyway.

Just on a few bloggers Blake, who by the way, don't seem to be happy anywhere unless they are hailed as the all knowing great ones.

Sounds like the K's are going through what the Rush did early in the year with injuries. Hang in there people the K's will be there for the duration.

Blake, any idea who they are looking at to possibly bring in due to all the injuries?

Blake Sebring

I'm afraid not KK, I've been a little busy with some other responsibilities today. I'm guessing there's really not a lot of talent available out there.

I agree Blake, finding talented players this time of the year may be tough to find. Jake Riddle was waived by Quad City recently, he's put up some decent numbers in the past and is fairly tough. I'm not sure why he was let go? But he may be worth talking to.

I agree with bringing riddle in to fill in, could potentially be another Auger type player in the right system. Or maybe even a call to PC, haven't heard what hes doing.
