Pretty good comments on the "lost" column, Blake. I've been preaching that for a bit of time now. That is one reason why the loss to Quad City hurt so much and the victories against Dayton and Evansville were so important.
The division is beating each other up and getting even in the "lost" column is huge. The "games in hand" are equally huge.
It seems like we can't escape eighth place but the teams ahead of the Komets are bunched up. Another modest winning streak could see some dramatic changes.
Chris Francis has been returned to Springfield. With him there my guess would be either the bench or the hotel rooms are getting pretty full. Maybe it's time to send Ratchuk back here and alleviate a problem.
By the way, I don't agree with Burgee's assessment of Icy D Eagle being you. Shoot, everyone knows that Icy doesn't have a beak that large.
