Look at it this way: They released Fletcher, retired Chin when he wanted to come back to camp, cut Lucyk in camp. Told Shaf he was retired. Traded a captain in Craig Duncanson.
They actually have done it at times, maybe not to the ones some of you want, though.

Thanks Blake for your observation and I forgot to put a disclaimer in there being a coach of comfort or GM of comfort I don't see being a good or bad thing And I know a lot more goes into that than just wanting somebody because you have to debate the worth of someone in terms of $$$. I am sure that Leo and PC both had to take a little less this year than what they got last year which from the management side is possible great value if they both have productive years.

Hit, I agree with what youre pointing at. However, I like what roles Leo and Drouin can do for us now that WILL help us go deep. They will fill supporting roles. Their proven statistics support this and perhaps can take the weight off their shoulders they cant carry anymore. With others in the spotlight who can stay there, these guys will be clutch. I dont believe in excuses but this might be what puts us over the top like Blake pointed out. I shoot for the positives as you can tell because you can't move on with what you have without it.

Blake Blake Blake Blake......Stop it.
The Warner Major was not a fight. It was him stepping in for PC because PC wouldn't fight, Warner stepped in, dropped his gloves, and both fell down. Not a fight. Ask anyone who was there.
LOL
You are killing me here.
I am resigned to the fact Warner is a Komet as long as he shows up to camp.
I don't need sold on it anymore.
LOL
I am more lobbying for Thorne and Rizk right now. They let those 2 go, and they are going against everything they have been selling us this offseason and preseason.
You know it Blake. You don't have to say it.

I would keep LaPointe because I think he is the second best center on the team..I think he is a clutch face off man and I do think he uses his size down low and out front. I thought his addition last year was a big positive to the team. When the dust settles I still think the club lacks in the toughness department across the board from the blue line out only time will tell and I think Saturday will be a good test in that department because I think Eville will be a gritty hockey club.

Do we really need PC and Leo being Veteran support players? On our top 2 lines?
Really?
Lets go with hard nosed talented quick players like Thorne and Rizk. They can support and then some and they are only going to get better.
The other 2....can they get better?

I think alot of the reason why this discussion is happening tonight instead of tomorrow is the fact that Blake speaks of PC and Leo like they are already on the team when speaking of Saturday and this season...
Leo moving to wing and being told to crash the net and forecheck this season....
How you spoke of the possibility of Drouin playing point with Milam on Saturday....
To us idiots, that makes it sound as if these guys have made the team...
Leo on the K's this season I wouldnt mind so much...the guy hustles most of the time, and his production took a hit only after he got injured... I would still take LaPointe over him if it came down to those two...
Warner, I want gone for obvious reasons...he's not a d-man and he doesnt have the talent to play forward with this current roster.
Drouin, I am tired of watching only get pumped up and play close to 100% when he's on the PP or in the playoffs...
Kinda looking forward to tomorrow...will be able to start talking possibilites by Friday. Thursday could be interesting around here... 200-300 posts??? LOL

I will say that if they cut Thorne, there will only be Schrock who will willingly drop the mits on the forward corps. I see that as a problem... The defense cant do all the message sending....

Talking on the TV today, I had to talk about the facts as they stood at that specific time. I didn't have any choice. That was the deadline and I didn't have the option to wait 24 hours and see what they decided on the cuts.

I am probably wrong, but I get the feeling he is hinting Garrett Klotz maybe. He is tough, can play a regular shift too and I think would be a great addition and somebody Al Sims would probably use because of his better skill set then most enforcers.

Klotz is alright. Looks like he's been scratched almost every night in Adirondack so far. I'm not sure why he'd be sent here and not to Trenton, the Phantoms ECHL affiliate.

Do you ever sleep? Not knocking your dedication to posting, it just appears that you post at all hours of the day and night. Impressive, really.
Sleep is for sissies.
Hit is a programmed blog drone. He posts in his sleep. Thoughts of Brandon Warner keep him awake at night... These are all possibilities.
Just read press release from team....P.C. Drouin released.
WOW! PC DROUIN HAS BEEN RELEASED!
You win, Bob! ;-)
He went before BW. Interesting. Is that the only one, Bob?
Best news I have heard in two years.
PC was the only one in the press release.
