Tailing the Komets

Interesting

David Franke certainly could have said that more tactfully.

So could some of the bloggers who said THE EXACT SAME THING FOR MOST OF THE SEASON. Some of you are being hypocritical about the whole situation considering how you cried about how the Komets needed a heavyweight, someone bigger to take on Goulet and some of the rest. All year Stayzer wasn't good enough or Mac wasn't big enough or whatever for you. Now you're getting exactly what you wanted, and some of the same people are still crying.

Pretty bush all the way around.

God love you, Mac for giving it everything you had every night. The next guy has a lot to live up to.

Skalde quits in Bloomington--They have bloggers over there that say it's all the Franke's fault. Just how can that be? We have all the problems one team can handle so how can the Franke's be responsible for every problem of every team? Duh? Dayton is looking pretty good. I still have a very big concern about Evansville. No GM-No Coach- not one player signed. They need to get things going very quickly. Quad City is at least working on their team.

Blake what is going on with Evansville? If you know.

Stephen Franke does own part of Bloomington, or at least he did last I knew.

I don't see how Skalde "quitting" is the Franke's fault. If I were a competetive owner, I'd want him there as long as possible. The guy stunk. I'd pitch in $20 from my wallet to keep him in Bloomington..

i commented about not going to the games becasuse the only way the anti franke crowd will win is if the attendance tanks and the frankes sell out. so if you dont like them dont go cause if you keep spending your money with them, then why would they change anyting?? not saying mac was needed to protect the players but realisticly he wore out his welcome from what i understand and we asked way too much of him and it hurt him in the end. it was stated many times after a few signings that the team would have a hard time staying under the cap and one thing you cant afford to do is pay top dollar to two goalers, just simple economics.

Boycotts are rarely more than a symbolic gesture. Attendance isn't going to tank unless the Frankes' lose their touch and the team tanks. And frankly, I don't expect that to happen. Certainly not this year. But a person can say, "I, for one, don't like the way this organization does business, and I'm going to spend my hard-earned money elsewhere."
