In some of these negotiations with players throughout the UHL. Nobody is announcing signings right now and we're into August. I think it's possible the Komets may have signed more players than any other UHL team, at least announced signings. I'll bet the debates are getting heated with both sides -- players and owners -- starting to get nervous.

Ok. I've read this about 5 times and at no time does this make sense to me. What's the message supposed to be?
It's august and no one is signing anyone. Isn't that interesting?
I would say yes. IT does seem like a lot of UHL vets are jumoing ship to other leagues though.

I guess Flint will be announcing their first signings by Thursday.
I was beginning to wonder if Flint was ever going to sign anyone for this season. I was hpoing that they weren't going to fold as well b/c that would not be good.
Eric kind of through Blakes under the bus with that whole Komets have signed more players than anyone else statement. Looks like we're second from last. Be careful, Blakes will get his sidekick after you Eric.

Nice Update Jungle Monkey...looks like the season is going to be a long one...I predict that they start out slowly...trade Danny Stewart and Dustin Virag...Mark Smith will defect the team for Euro Hockey, as if Pulcrapski hockey isn't all ready....Galbraith will ditch the team for a few weeks when the going gets tough....we trade an all-rookie player in Mike Wiggins for a d-man that is in town for one day before released...we bring in Ryan Jorde who is feared by everyone on the face of the Earth...we make the playoffs only to have our arses handed to us by a much more physical and uptempo team in Rockford in which we were told all season that, that style is extinct in this league. And by the way...Rob Guinn will then forget more about fighting than any of us has ever seen, so don't question his toughness. Did I mention our new mascot...Enema Man.

So if Port Huron has signed two new goalies...where the heck is Scott Hay? And if he is out there..why not bring him in?
Oh I forgot, we have Frenchy who will play 19 out of every 20 games because the organization owes it to him...at least that is what we were told last season as we watched a decent back-up waste away on the bench.
