In some of these negotiations with players throughout the UHL. Nobody is announcing signings right now and we're into August. I think it's possible the Komets may have signed more players than any other UHL team, at least announced signings. I'll bet the debates are getting heated with both sides -- players and owners -- starting to get nervous.

They both take alot of work but the great thing is, the job is different everyday and I am constantly meeting new people. So work never gets boring.
Oh and I would NEVER disrespect Mr Berra. I met him at The National a few years ago. What a pleasure he was. He talked with everyone who came to his table, posed for pictures, hugged kids etc.
Not like alot of signers who barely look up at you when you come to their tables. I stopped standing in line for signatures because of that.
yeh, i know what you mean. i once met harry carey jr the actor and pilar wayne, the dukes wife, and i talked to them for a long time and they acted just like regular people. then again i met pete rose and denny mclain and they were two of the most pompous self absorbed people i ever had the displeasure to run across. athletes are really wrong when they think that they arent role models.

I saw on a Port Huron Flags blog that he signed with Bakersfield? Not sure how true that is though. If he played in the UHL he would be suspended for the first 5 or 10 games because of an altercation he had at the end of the season with Mr. Hawthorne.
