The Komets announced Thursday that three more players have been added to the preseason roster with 40 days remaining until camp opens on the 60th anniversary season of Komet Hockey.
Added were goaltender Kevin Beech, right winger Bobby Chaumont and rookie forward Eric Yngwe.
Beech, who turns 25 this month, has appeared the past four seasons in the CHL. The netminder was a sixth-round draft choice by Tampa Bay in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and made his pro debut with Springfield posting a 3.13 goals-against average in six games at the end of the 2006-07 AHL season. Beech will be entering his fifth full season as a pro. He has appeared the past four seasons in the CHL serving stints with Laredo, Youngstown, Mississippi, Corpus Christi and, last year, Texas and Wichita. The Brantford, Ontario native has an overall CHL goals-against average of 2.71 and a save percentage of .901 during his four-year CHL career.
Chaumont, 26, will be entering his sixth pro season and fourth in the CHL. The right winger skated CHL stints with Laredo (2006-07) and Mississippi (2008-09, 2009-10) before electing to travel to Europe last season and appearing in 54 games with Braehead posting a team fourth-best 53 points (22 goals, 31 assists). During his CHL career, Chaumont has registered 75 goals and 159 points in 177 games.
Yngwe, 23, hails from Sweden and will be looking to start his pro career with the Komets. The 6-foot, 3-inch, 212-pound forward was a prospect at the Komets' tryout camp at the World Hockey Centre in Toronto this past summer attended by Komet head coach Al Sims. Yngwe has skated the past two seasons with Alvesta, division 2, in Sweden, accumulating 16 goals and 31 points during his two year stint of 53 games.

Alan, LOL. I am about 90 lbs. lighter than the boyfriend. But he's a good kid. Like one of the family.
Kinda nice having our own bouncer.
College football=St.Francis,Army
NFL=Steelers
MLB=Tigers
NHL=Flyers
nba= 0
Mighty is all over the map.
I agree with mightbite that the nba=0.
I would rather watch a 0-0 soccer match, with a figure skating exhibition at halftime, than the NBA.
Sorry if I offended any soccer or figure skating fans.
How about the Mighty Ball State Cardinals putting the smack down on IU!!!
What's worse is all the hype in South Bend and Lou's boy comes in and handles the Irish.
Wow, we really need hockey to start...
With all the storms during the ND game it showed how touchdown Jesus felt about the Irish play during the first 2 quarters.
Hit...Lou's boy didn't come in and 'handle' the Irish...the Irish killed themselves! USF is pretty good, though I don't think that they are really better than ND. Nobody is going to win too many games with 5 turnovers...yet they only lost by 3. The Irish should have easily won that game by 20. Next week against Michigan could be really interesting...
I am a ND fan.
I would have to say....coulda, shoulda, woulda. Lou's boy got over on the Irish and that Red Faced Coach Kelly. They guy is a screamer. USF shouldn't be anywhere close to ND in talent, coaching, and program quality.
But when will Notre Dame return to being who they should be?
I guess when IU basketball does the same.
It is a shame.
My moblie device is under heavy twitter fire tonight.
Peyton Manning out 2 weeks, maybe 5, maybe the season...or longer.
He has no velocity on his throws, and now has severe back pain.
Maybe going under the knife again.
Jim Irsay won't stop tweeting.
Someone call Komet Warrior.
B.Warner could make this team as it stands.
Jim Irsay is a nut.
Always glad to see IU lose.
Komets news may be moved until 7-10 days.
How in God's green earth can BW possibly make this team? There are already 6-7 better defenseman than him and he was replaced for the playoffs. I don't get it. If he does than the Frankes must have gotten a good dental plan from Warners father for this year.

these 2 are on the same team :)
Warner better than 2 mollie, Cescon,
MB, you honestly think Warner is better than Cescon and Molle? Warner's lazy passes and absolutely stupid penaltys are what makes him lousy. Not to mention the fact he's out of position 80% of the time.

here buy a O'Connor jersey.
Warner has out scored both of them :)
So have the forwards that Warner is defending against...whats your point?
We have 3 "offensive" d-men signed already... would be nice to have guys back there that concentrate on keeping the puck out of thier net...
Warner also gave up more points than all the others put together too. Sorry, mightbite, but to defend him you'll probably have to pull a Sebring and spew out some worthless +/- stat.

How is this :)

THIS IS NOT GOOD.
Bored and starved for hockey info = arguing about Warner.
Might, that's not our O'Connor. There's another Sean O'Connor from Victoria BC, and that's his jersey
I think Mighty just "might" br trying to pull a Burgee and he is yanking at some chains.
No way he could be serious about BWs being better than the D-Men we have signed.
I hear the kid from Michigan is pretty sound defensively and is tough as well.
There is also a young russian coming on the same plane as APOD that is a physical DMAN.
We don't need a DMAN that gives the puck away, takes dumb penalties, is out of position, and is non-physical.
Plus I heard that BWs is going overseas to play hockey and that is the reason he is skating with Komets at Canlan.
Andy, thanks. Just like there is 2 Jason Goulet
Agree 100% Hit.
This is for hit.....
