Starenky impressed me a ton Sunday. He was always hitting someone. He's not too bad defensively, although he was caught out of position a time or two that I noticed. He can replace Cescon pretty easily.

They are not going to cut him, but he is going to go on IR. Found out at practice yesterday he hurt his shoulder. He'll be out for at least two weeks.

Of course he's going on the IR. One less move will have to be made to get things riled up. Now we're starting with 6 defensemen. Let's hope nobody gets hurt opening night.

Starenky looks great to me. Sound Dman that does the physical stuff that I complain no one else does as a Dman in the past several years...Bertram was the closest to doing these things.
He will be missed the first 2 games as it seems.

Hopefully we will have a decent ref to corral Sgroi. The NHL "head" rules might slow down all of the attack goons in the CHL.

You can't rely on the refs to protect your players. Thats not why they get paid to do.
K's management's job is to put the right players on the ice...when they're needed. And if Sgroi is dressed for the home opener....that would be a good time.

Enforcers sell tickets. At the end of the day, hockey is an entertainment product. Fighting is entertaining.

Sgori is a meathead, Kromm is known to send a message. Let's hope no one gets hurt. Hate to lose Schrocky early on because he was the only guy willing to clash with the meatheads on Eville's team.
I think Starenky can fill the role...not sure how he will stack up against some of the "fighters" in this league, but he isn't afraid to go with them. He would have been big in the opener. IMO.

Fletch just tried to rip his arm off. Fletch bent is arm in a way that it doesn't go when he was on his knees trying to get up.

Wow, I used to always stick up for Fletcher in this fight when Indy fans would say that Fletcher derailed Toporowski's career....
