WIth a 3-2 victory at Quad City on Saturday night, the Fort Wayne Komets moved past idle Dayton and into seventh place in the Central Hockey League's Turner Conference. The old guys came through for the Komets as P.C. Drouin, Colin Chaulk and Leo Thomas scored for Fort Wayne. Thomas's goal with 1:09 remaining off a Mike Ratchuk pass was the game-winning goal.
Fort Wayne out-shot Quad City 36-34. It's the Komets' ninth win in their last 10 road games.

Sweet! Considering Quad City does have the league's best defense according to stats. We even battled back down 2-0 early in 1st Period. Great Win! Hopefully we got enough gas and ready to hold 7th tomorrow against Dayton.

I emailed CHLTV....but I am sure it will fall on deaf ears....I had trouble a couple of weeks back not being able to access a game, and they sent me some BS that my software wasn't up to date......whatever. They are full of shaving cream.
I have a season pass for CHLTV and they could careless when I don't get a feed, because they all ready have my moolah.

exactly Hit! They had posted something on facebook about watching the games on CHL TZ and I posted on there not to watch it because if it doesn't feed properly they won't refund your money. A bunch of people started to post stuff too, and they deleted all of our comments.

Will someone mention to Quad City that they have the Pepsi logo on the front of their jersey upside down. The blue is supposed to be on the bottom and it should be tilted a bit. Just google image search Pepsi logo. Maybe its like those messages on Jeeps - if you can read this, flip me over.
What Blake said is that he'd be shocked if the Komets won both Saturday and Sunday. We still don't know how Sunday's game will go. But if the K's win, I'm sure he will be shocked (or at least duly impressed).
Personally, I haven't been impressed with the Gems will to win of late, but if they are ever going to make a stand, this would be the time. They've had a whole day to think about it, get their rest and prepare.

This is nuts! I can't play along with the boo hoo party for the Komets having to play at home, travel to Quad City, then play at home on consecutive days when I look at that mess that Bloomy has to deal with...
Thats 14 games in roughly 26 days with 2 trips to Texas... Only 4 of those games are at home.... This is freaking crazy!
This isnt all the CHL's schedulers fault because I believe a couple of those games were games postponed due to that big snow storm we had a lil while back and thrown in where they could get dates...

Ok, so maybe Blake predicted that the K's wouldn't win BOTH games this weekend. Whatever! It's way more important to me to have the K's win, and pick up the two points, than to give Blake an " I told you so."
If you are going to the game, and it seems a lot of you have become "experts" on the individual teams the K's play without seeing them, then I would pay close attention to the first ten minutes. If the Komets are fatigued it will show by then. Usually a team will catch its second wind and if they are ahead ot tied I think it will bode well.
Maybe Sims may give Podshendialov a start today. He is fresh and could give a needed energy boost. I don't think that will happen, though. Boucher will probably get the start today, but personally, I would go with Reiter once more.
Each game remains huge as we need to get caught up in the "lost" column.
