Steve, thank you for your response to my comment. I will think about what you have written and weigh it against my original thought. Your points are worth more consideration as I appreciate another view.
Mr. Snuff, I also wanted to comment to you regarding your response to my post. I agree that the IHL and CHL talking, working with each other is positive in lieu of the alternative. However, that is just the first step. I believe that if the ECHL doesn't embrace the idea of working with the other two leagues, then "AA" hockey is still a "house divided". It will take all three working together to bring some sanity back to "AA" hockey. If not, then "look out below". Maybe not this year or next, but soon.
To echo the comment Wendy posted regarding her cousin who is a STH. When, Komet fans, was the last time that so little had been announced about so much? Frankly, I have learned more (in bits and pieces) from the news articles in the paper and the blogs, than the League. Not necessarily the way I wanted to become aware of things, but it is what it is.
Not an IHL fan: Count me out. I enjoy the hockey I see, I enjoy the people who sit around me in 208, I enjoy the atmosphere, and I'm very content with the product on the ice and the dedication of the Franke family, Coach Al Sims and the players.

There is no IHL..,So how can you not be an IHLfan when it doesnt even exist? Do you even live in or close to Fort Wayne? If you think hockey stinks here then you should have seen the many attempts to get indoor football going here. Talk about comedy of errors! At least we get winners here in hockey! Is it the best? No. But good enough for me and 8,000 others. Thats the most sad suckers I have ever seen. So you will be spending a lot of time on your knees praying for us sad sacks. I guess we should all say thanks.
Tim Hoke, I think you better ask Michael and David if there is an IHL or not before you speak on their behalf. I think they might give you a different story as to if there is an IHL or not.

And I've actually come to appreciate the ads on the ice. They make good points of reference when one is discussing the game afterwards. (i.e. "Did you see Guy? He was way out by the 'y' in Subway!")

Well Snuff, you can discuss "pots and Kettles" all you want; but not with me, IMO. I do my best to discuss topics with people on here without resorting to name calling or telling them to leave... I can handle people having differing views than mine, it makes for some good discussions.

I actually like listening to him.....he is entertaining.
The only problem is he's still calling game action 30 minutes after the game is over!!! LOL
He always does that.....He has the longest post game show in sports. It takes the poor guy that long to wind down.
I'm saying, he's still calling the 10 minute mark of the third period 30 minutes after the game has ended...lol
He throws half the dictionary at ya to explain a nice pass in the neutral zone...lol
