Good game.... I thought the Rush controlled play for about the first 10 minutes or so, then the K's got rolling and never looked back.

Now please, PLEASE put a string of 2 good, solid efforts in a row...

Nice game. I watched fridays game and the komets came out strong but the bounces favored the Rush. The 5-2 loss was a lot closer. Komets proved they are harder working team both nights. Great confidence win over a team that isnt like last years team. Both Rush goalies got scored on almost equally (save percentage).

Neither can the rest of Komets nation! We thought the 8 goals were a lot, with Dayton's new ECHL reject goalie we might double that! If he's actually in the game and not on door duty that is.

i wish i knew how to work this silly "caps" button... i know there's a trick to it... OH KRAP! HOW DID I DO THAT. DAG NAB IT! ok, good. back to normal.

i doubt lawrence plays, but i could be wrong. if dayton plays like they did last week, it won't matter much who is in the goal. i expect they'll have a better showing though, at least i'd hope they would after what was probably a fun week of practice for them.

I think Larry will do well just to show you guys up! He will be the Larry Sterling of the 2008 finals, only better. He will do well with an actual defense in front of him :)

If he plays I hope he does well too, just not stand on his head well. A close game is more exciting to watch then a blowout..but blowouts are fun once in awhile if you're on the winning side.

Yes, Dayton is known for the stellar defense this year. Their 38 goals allowed is the worst in the Turner Conference and only 1 below Arizona for the league worst.

Larry hasnt played well since that series. There is a reason why Komets fans chant "We want Larry" when he is here. It is so easy to get him off of his game, whether it is chanting his name or just putting him on the big screen next to a picture of Bozo, his skin is thinner than a lot of bloggers on here. I'M excited for him to play in the Jungle so I can see the first home offensive explosion of this Komets team.

Larry was playing as well as ever in the playoffs against the K's in 2010. Does being down 3 games to 1 for the second time ring any bells? As I recall, there were those that thought if he hadn't gotten injured in game 4, Port Huron might have taken that series.

I'm one of them, Wendy. He backstopped them to a 3-1 series lead.

At that time, with the momentum Port Huron had, I think even the most true Komet fan would have to admit Port Huron would've won one of the last three games with Stirling in the net.

It's terrific to be a fan, but sometimes one has to surrender to the logic of the situation.
