Those released today were Charle Levin, J.S. Richard, Chris Cote, Daniel Ljung, Martin Aubin, Drew O'Connell and Carl Michaelson. This brings the roster down to 23.
``Practice was OK that way today,'' Komets coach Pat Bingham said. ``It's definitely a manageable
number. If we have to make moves beyond that only time will tell. Our aim and our goal is to get the guys we have as ready as we
possibly can for Friday night in Rockford.''
Komets General Manager David Franke said the team still has to make a couple of more decisions before Friday's game at Rockford. The Komets could put as many as four players on injured reserve and another on team suspension. The IR lists are for 7, 10, 14 and 21 days, and Franke said it's pointless to put someone on the 21-day list.

A few I was suprised about, and a few I'm suprised wasn't on there....but nothing I disagree about. Thanks for the update Blake.
Not too surprised with those 6. They weren't real stand outs.
I only got to see Richard play as I only went to the Friday game. He's the only one I would consider a surprise, but we'll wait and see. Looks lokie their are a couple of other choices to make.
I'm a little disappointed about Drew getting cut, only becuase he was a fellow Yankees fan. Not a good week for him, hun? Plus I know my sis-in-law will be upset about him as well after seeing him at the softball game, she was a puckbunny at first sight....LOL
yeah hoss that was my first thought, darn it..the hottie is gone...there is plenty of others left though... :P
When I was playing extreme good looks and the ability to play hockey were NOT mutually exclusive like they seem to be today.
I was proof of that.
I know this doesn't quite go with the comments above, but what happened to Duhart? I thought he was supposed to come play for us...
He never signed....which is obvious
Sarah, the Komets decided not to try to sign Duhart in August.
Blake, I've heard that Gaberilsen is now considered a tweener, his games in Norway count.
