Does Drouin count himself as one of those slow starting veterans? Because it sure didn't sound like it from
His quote.

This article...is why I won't buy season tickets.
And, next year...I think I'll pass on a bunch of games until Christmas...save money, less stress.

Sounds logical to me.

Nice article Blake, I was somewhat suprised at the candor and honesty from the players; but it was refreshing to hear their true opinions.
Regarding this statement: "That's really the point, the veterans will say. Nobody remembers the games before January as long as you are ready to win the games in April and May."
I agree with and disagree with this, mostly because while it is true that if we win it all, I won't care how horrible the season started; but at the same time, I certainly remember how painful it was to go to games with the attitude or thought that _we are going to lose_.
As George Santayana wrote: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Trust me. I remember the first half of the season. I always remember the first half of each Komet season, although this particular one will definitely rank right up there.

Great quote, Brandan, and forever true, especially for things a lot more important than hockey.
