This win is a huge confidence builder. Versteeg-Lytwyn is giving opposing goalies nightmares. Acquring him, Leo Thomas and bringing back Vince Tarantino have proven to be excellent moves.

I still think that this club can finish in first place and they still have a good chance to win between 40-50 games.

MVL is money right now. He has been a great pickup. It appears he's found a good thing here with a classy organization, great teammates, great coach and the best fans in all of minor league hockey. Go Komets!!!

MVL....MVP? He is "en fuego."

Great job Komets!!!

Curadeau's shootout winner might have been one of the prettiest goals I have ever seen. Hope that ends up on YouTube so everyone can see it. Simply amazing.

Tarantino got called for a very questionable call at the end of the game...with 24 seconds left. This ref tonight called nothing until the end of the game. He let alot of obvious stuff go, and then the whistle appeared firmly between his lips. I don't understand how players can know from minute to minute how to play. The calls are so inconsistant. We had at least 4 times early in the game where we were going to the net and a PT player pulled our guy down from behind and no call. Oh well.

Great weekend. Great effort. 2 pairings of defensemen all weekend long for the most part. The defense gets huge props from me. Those guys have to be dead.

If we can win that one....it will set-up a show-down this weekend for 1st place with the BorderBeaconFlagHawks. The Komets are looking very solid right now. MVL is proving to be a huge pickup, as is Mr. Tarantino. It also helps to have Curadeau back...I can't wait for the weekend!
