First let me say I am sorry to anyone who was offended by what I did. I meant no disrepect to the flag, the anthem, or the country! I was trying to get the crowd going, just like at many NHL games, and it didn't work. It went over like a lead balloon! It will not be done again.

To the Vets, the grown "adults," and mostly the drunks, let me again say I'm sorry and than go on to say thank you for threatening my life and my families' lives all game long. There were two guys that came up and talked to me about how they felt and I totally understand where they were coming from. They also understood what I was doing after we talked and agreed when I said it was a bad idea!!!

To the Drunk Vet that came up and told me he hoped I died on the way out, told me he would be waiting for me, and then drank his beer, your a great guy.

To the usher that wanted me kicked out from the start, since his grandson died while fighting, I say I am sorry I upset you, but I don't think your grandson would love the fact that you wouldn't call a sheriff to take care of the drunk and then told me the best thing for me was to die on the way out. Another great American!!!

I am sure there are many that want to do something to me, but to wish death on someone infront of his wife, four year old, and seven week old sons...that takes the cake.

I have heard and seen much worse that what you did tonight!!!!! Some people we saying that you were cussing and have been told several times to stop are full of BS!!!! I understand what you were trying to do and I agree it did not work. Funny how in every IHL barn and NHL barn I have been too it works and works great. Seems to be allot of other places that allow much more than the MC.
I think I might bring a cow bell Saturday and just see how long it takes to get taken from me. Randy Brown has too many rules and the Red coats that rushed up there tonight were idiots!! Then all night he was looking at you. I agree it offended some people but it's not like you were booing or yelling anything bad, you were trying to get the crowd fired up!!
I think Larry needs to start playing music that will get the crowd pumped because the same old lame music is boring. When you go to K-Zoo or other places it is loud the entire game. Most game 1's that I have been to in the past 30+ years set the tone for the series.......hope tonight

I can't believe how people treated you tonight, it is your right to speak however and whenever you want. The people who are so uptight to threaten your life really need to grow up and actually learn what this country is about (your right speak when and where you decide).

Game 6 in Kalamazoo. A hispanic gentleman was sitting in the row across the isle to us. During the National Anthem he never stood or took his hat off the entire time. Now I understand that every person has a 'right' to do what they want and some times those things are not liked by every one. I felt what he did was very disrespectful but I didn't immediately run up to their Red Coats and DEMAND that he be removed from the build. I just had my opinion and let it go at that. I and my family have been to many different venues across the United States and during the National Anthem at almost if not ALL of them the Fans do something similar in an attempt to get the home crowd into the game early. Obviously, what went down was new and certainly out of place for the MC but by no means did it hurt or hinder any ones life. With that said. You owe no apologies.

For a 1st game of the series it was very tame and non-physical tonight. Very little scrums and with a guy like Langdon tonight you could have gotten away with a lot. It really felt like a normal regular season game. I have seen more post hit by the K's in these play-off games than the entire season. Hopefully we come out burning Saturday and have no let downs.

Did anyone else notice tonight that Shaf really looked off-beat out there? I haven't seen him look like that in a long time. Almost like his mind was elsewhere. And yes, I know his age, but still, he really struggled tonight. Also, why weren't we getting anyone in the middle tonight like we have been lately? Pretty strange game tonight. I'm glad for the win, just don't know that we were the better team out there tonight. Thanks again to Boucher and Hukalo. I hope everyone else turns it up a notch from here on out or else we may be in trouble.

why is it that anyone who disagreed with the disrespect for out flag suddenly is a drunk?? i noticed even in hoss apology he had to "adults" and called the vets drunk. right there your apology seemed to lose its seriousness. it was stupid and he apologized and its over. there are times to be reverent and times to be rowdy and just becacuse they do it at other barns doesnt make it right.
