Tailing the Komets

Ks look very flat so far

And they've lost their cool, too. Leo Thomas responded to an uncalled cross check by Kalamazoo's Lucas Drake with an obvious spearing major in front of referee Scott Hobert. Colin Chaulk also got into a cross checking match with the Wings' Rick Cleaver a few seconds before that.

I hate to say this but the last two games have look very flat and lackluster on the K's part. Nobody has taken the bull by the horns so to speak and it is showing. The PP is absolutely killing us with no flow or oprrotunities. Loosing Leo and PC doesn't help either tonight but that is how it goes. We got guys who rather use their sticks as weapons instead of just droping the gloves and fighting. Leo could get some games for what he did which could put us a man short if it carries over to the play-off's.

I don't know why they ever put Legs on the IR. The whole team plays better with him in the lineup. We got out hit tonight badly. If we don't have some beef in the lineup we will get pushed around in the playoffs. It is so frustrating to see the same thing every year...guys that play physical all season long and lay it on the line every game get the shaft come playoff time. Makes you wonder why Mac or Legs would want to come back next year.

Well Mac does have a broken hand, but I agree with Leg's he gets the shaft and then Boulay ups and leaves. They should have waited, but I am sure it was a Cap issue because Franke said it would be difficult to keep 21 active players because of money.

Bloomingto beats PH in Shoot-out and if my math is right the K's retain the Huber Cup with a 3 point margin

enforcers are hardly ever used in the playoffs i think they understand that.
