Tailing the Komets

Legault on 10-day IR

Undisclosed injury.

I also taked to Brad MacMillan who was put on waivers today by Colorado. He has not talked with anyone with the Komets yet, other than some of the players. Komets do get first crack at him if they choose since they would be first in the waiver draft.

My guess? They pick him up, but I don't know how that plays into the remaining games of his suspension or whatever. I would also not be shocked if Brad just said the heck with the CHL and decided to A) give up

Do you know if Brad asked to be released, or do you think the situation was more than what Colorado wanted to deal with?

Its went from Mac will never be back, to Mac will probably be back. Funny how that works. Chaulk was finishing his season in Italy too.

I think MacMillan provides the swagger that the Komets lack. Time to get Brad to suit up.

How many more games does he have to sit still? If he doesn't have many more left, I say bring him in. He can play a better shift than Legs. If he is just going to sit in out stands because he still has games left, don't we already have enough guys in the seats?

Mac would have to sit a total of 9 games still

I don't think he'd fly in the E, remember Woods in Cincy?? Same type of thing.

Were there any bad feelings between him and the organization from this summer? I thought that was why he left. Not sure, I thought I read that this summer though.

Unfortunately, with the reputation Mac got as a result of the fight and suspension, I would assume all CHL refs would be watching him like a hawk every time he stepped on the ice. Also, not sure if Fort Wayne wants to pick up a player with that kind of suspension and record. I know most of the rest of you think we need a goon, but hockey games are won by scoring goals, not by having brawls. A deserved fight can spark a team, but an uncalled for brawl does not win hockey games. Sorry fight lovers...

How about going out and finding a couple legitimate Defensemen?
