Come on Blake I know it is April Fools, but seriously this is purely a cap issue and he is the odd man out

Would you rather they released him outright?

Might as well just release him I'd be very surprise if he returns to FW next year or even if the K's want him next season. He had a disappointing year with his injury and played a total of 39 games of which he might have been healthy for 10 or 12 games this year. He lost out on a lot of ice time early on this year and the K's should have waited to put him on IR after tonights game Muskegon signed some toughness and I wouldn't be a bit surprise if they "goon" it up tonight, but we shall see..good luck with the live blog

They could not have done that and activated Hodgman. I'm sure they gave Olivier the choice of IR or release. Thanks, it will be busy up here.

shoulder is fine, komets are in first, legault helped them get there, he had injuries throughout the year, but is healthy and ready to rumble....oh well dump him and pick up Hodge...why does he deserve to be here ? shame on you frankes....does it matter that legault put himself out there for you while he was injured and then re-injured ? he came back hard and earned a spot on the playoff roster...remember last year, same stuff...legault should move on to a team that appreciates his talent and ability...

lets get real here. hodgman vs legault? are you even thinking with a clear brain? i love legault but he didnt earn a playoff spot and he didnt help them do anything. hes a project and his being hurt most of the year didnt help him. a great guy but anyone would take hodgman over olivier any day, this is a business and guys like him unfortunatly are the odd man out. mcmillan can skate a regular shift and not hurt you but legaut is not at that level yet.
