The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce they have agreed to terms with defenseman Ryan McGinnis and forward Olivier Legault for the upcoming 2009-10 season; per team policy, the terms of the contracts will be undisclosed.
Off to an impressive start to his professional career, McGinnis spent his rookie campaign splitting time between the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League and the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.
Adding a physical presence up front, the K-Wings have signed forward Olivier Legault. Entering his third-year of professional hockey, Legault has spent the past two seasons with the Fort Wayne Komets of the International Hockey League.
A former 4th round (93rd overall) selection in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft for the Florida Panthers, Legault has amassed 294 minutes in penalties in his 94 career pro games.

I'm going to k-zoo to see a game.
you can sit next to him in the stands!
T-Minus 1 month, 8 days, 8 hours and 37 mins until Opening Night in Fort Wayne...yeah I have to much time on my hands! Or I just cant wait until Hockey Season.
I can't wait until hockey night counts as a "date" again... Dinner and a movie will break a guy these days! At least my tickets are already paid for when it comes to the Komets. :)
I wonder what color he will dye his hair? Red, White or Blue. I am pretty sure Orange is out. chuckitt will let us know. If it is up to gutless Paul Picard it will be yellow.
Blake, any potential new komet signings to report? Seems awfully quiet lately
Tyler Sims (Al's son) and Michael Udovich from Evansville signed today.
Don't know why that came across as spam, Lovelost.
