Tailing the Komets

Legends book signing

1-3 p.m., Saturday at Komet Kuarters with Terry Pembroke, Eddie Long and David Hukalo and some other schmoe. I believe Pembroke is the last player with a retired number to do a signing for this book so come on down. I've also heard Ken Ullyot is going to be at Friday's game as well.

I agree about Ken Ullyot. His health has not been good. It would really be nice to see him and have him at the home opener. He has given a lot to the Komets and to the IHL (old IHL). There was a time his money kept Toledo in the League.
He was a great coach and a very fine individual. His knowledge of players and hockey people spans the intire globe. Just a very classy man.

I'll make sure to dust off my cowboy boots and hat in honor of Pemmer!

Can't wait until opening night! Go K's!!!
