Tailing the Komets

Leo is fired up

``I let them know that I really didn't want to go anywhere else. After the season we had last year I wanted to ome back and help get this team back to where it should be.

``I'm taking the offeseason a lot more serious than I have in a few years. That's one thing I knew I had to improve on, being in better shape and being stronger. Last year obviously I didn't live up to my own expextations, let alone the organizations. Maybe I needed to have an off year like that to get ready to come back and prove a lot of people wrong. I'm pretty pumped up about that.

``That's why I like Dave and this organzation. I told him right away that the season I had wasn't good at all. It wasn't just me either, but we talked about it and he let me know his views about how I played and Coach Sims let me know. I couldn't be ticked off because a lot of it was true. We all said a lot of things over the summer which were true, and I'm ready to come back and prove people wrong and that they didn't make a mistake by bringing me back. I'm doing a lot of stuff like I did when I first began playing as a pro. I have a lot of motivation right now.''

No Offense to Leo....I enjoy watching a Fired Up Leo play hockey....but I thought some of you would like to go back in the old DeLorean with me and Doc Brown and his dog Einstein for just a moment:

Anyone recall this:

Pre-camp workouts
Tuesday, September 28th, 2010
The Komets who live in Fort Wayne are in their second week of skating at Canlan, and some of the veterans are in much better shape this September than they were last year. P.C. Drouin and Leo Thomas were keeping up with Sean O

This time around it's put up or shut up.

If Franke keeps letting players like this talk and not deliver and still brings them back, it just shows that Franke himself is soft.

Wow, then what does that say about the IHL2.....????

Their offseason workouts for the IHL2 must have been PBR and Oreos.....

Note to Big Al:

When Sgori lines up at center to take the faceoff and you have Chaulk, Leo, and PC lined up against that line.....ummmm.....call timeout or throw in the towel.

Brad won't be here this time to come out of the box to protect his teammates.

Sgroi is a cancer, and I bet he plays on 3 teams like he does every season. Again, pointless to sign a guy to specifically match up against ONE other guy.

I have no use whatsoever for Sgroi. The Komets do not need a one dimensional circus show.

As for Leo....all I hear is noise.

When PC was 'boxing' did they have to put a linesman in between him and the bag so he could start throwing punches???

Awesome response JR1...I've never seen a tougher guy on the ice than PC....as long as a linesman is is there!
