It seems like all of our "best" guys who aren't playing probably aren't really our "best" guys since the Komets are winning now, but couldn't when our "best" guys were in there. The team is playing hungry again from what I've seen in the road games. No one has questioned heart, comepetetiveness, or mindset since several of our "best" guys went down to injury. Maybe the injuries healed the team? I like the roster we've had on the ice lately.

I hope you are not talking about Leo when you metion our team is better with the players out. He was our unsung hero the past few years and he was not one of the problems at the star of the year. He was one of the few bright spots.

When he comes back, it will be like the Komets made a trade for a star second line guy without losing anyone, except the guy that has to sit out.

I didn't mention any names, if you'll notice. I know how bunched up panties get when names come out, and I just want people to enjoy the games this weekend. Hopefully we see some wins.

I agree he was playing tough early this year when everyone else was out there for what looked like a Wendy's skate night during the games. Not to sound too much like Snuff here and steal his thunder, but your argument for the past few years doesn't hold a lot of water with me. A lot of these guys were great then, and a lot of them that are not here now were too. However, I'm more worried about the now than a history lesson (and I love history). If that argument was worth a fart in a windstorm, then guys like Mark V-L would still be playing for the Komets.

With that being said, I do appreciate the great things people have done in the past. In reality though, this is a "What have you done for me lately?" industry. That's just the business end of it, as is most of the real world.

Yeah, it's much better to call out "players" rather than call out a player on his play...got it!

Who did I call out? Leo is one of the last people that I would "call out", I was just making the observation that the team has played a lot better since some of the less hungry three-time champions haven't been playing.

Since you're such an expert on hockey, how about you come up with a great idea? I'll help you out, how about at tonight's game, to get the crowd and team fired up, you stand up during the national anthem and start screaming "Let's Go Komets!" ? You know, something really original despite being done already in Chicago for years? I really think it'll catch on if you keep shouting it even after you notice you're the only person doing it. And don't give up on it after one game, stick to your guns, and make it catch on.

Leo and his effort aren't a problem. He was one of the few playing hard before he got hurt. He'll be a welcome addition when healthy.

Takes a big man to call someone out on the internet when you could just come give a friendly "hello" at a game...so much to say about someone, but it can only be typed on a computer. Oh well, I guess not all "fake tough guys" play in the NBA!!!

Harley, that would involve someone talking face to face, not keyboard to keyboard! But we know that won't happen...LOL!

You want somebody to come talk face to face with your kids around Hoss??? For shame!

RunningKomet

I saw plenty of people come talk to you face to face, Hoss. You sat there and just stared forward, then used your kids as an excuse. Why waste the walk. Teach your kids that fighting is the best route to take after you've done something foolish and can't own up to it. Good lesson. Now that is how you call someone out, not what I originally said about the article.

Is Didier ready? LET'S GO KOMETS! LET'S GO KOMETS!

No one? Huh, I guess history does repeat itself.

Really??? And where were you? stared forward? Yep, that's me. Very soft spoken...and where did I say come fight me? I said be a man and call someone out to their face, not with a keyboard...but again, I doubt anyone could come carry on a conversion without trying to call people out. It's over and done with so go troll someone else!
