RIP for the Father of the Electric Guitar and the man who made rock and a lot more possible. But he intended his solid-body electric guitar and the multi-track recording he pioneered as jazz enhancers. His screwup turned out better than most people's successes. Listen to him accompanying (that doesn't seem like exactly the right word does it?)
