Do you think that the league could do a better job of recruiting if the IHL had a more agressive marketing strategy? I do remember seeing on another teams website that had a link/page devoted to prospective players that told them about the city, team, arena, etc. The site was informative and interesting....I think it was on a CHL team site.

No, I don't think they are going to look for more tough guys. David Franke said he has no interest in Mike Sgroi, either.

I don't think players care one whit about marketing, all they care about is making the most money and getting the chance to move up. I think the league needs to do a better job of helping guys move up, which doesn't help the fans one darn bit.

Blake, hear any noise about future expansion teams in the I for next year or upcoming years? Seems pretty tough to have an odd number of teams for the schedule.

I hear the same rumors you guys do, Matt. Chicago is out there, and supposedly there are cities in other leagues calling to inquire. I think every league is competing over the same 5-6 cities.
