Tailing the Komets

Looking ahead

The Komets expect the next series to start next Friday and Saturday in Rapid City. They would leave by sleeper bus on Wednesday and maybe stop halfway to practice before completing the trip.

I wonder what the long delay is for? I checked out the event schedule for Rapid City's arena and they have things going on, just not in the arena.

Burgee is paying for all the blog posters to fly out to Rapid City? That's really nice of you! Thank you!

I' like to know how many of the Komet 500 will be making that trip. I was there on business for a weekend a few years ago. Seemed to be a friendly town. I would love to make the trip but it isn't possible with such little time to plan for it. I do hope some Komet fans find a way out there. This is turning out to be quite a story.

Who made the decision to wait a week and a half to start the next series, Rapid City or the CHL? Thats stupid. They could start it this weekend if they tried. Saturday and Sunday games isn't impossible to do.

Dont they have to wait until all teams are ready for the second round? I think there are two 1st round series still going...

According to the coliseum web site our 1st home game with Rapid City is on the 20th...any truth to this?

At the start of the season I thought for some reason they planned to have the season over by very early May?
