Well it appears Legualt once again has been made the sacrificial lamb as he was placed on 30 day IR. What a disappointing year for the kid he finally gets healthy enough to do what he is suppose to do and now he gets put on the IR to save cap money. He won't be able to come off IR until the 29th of April.

I seriously doubt if he is a scape goat. My reasoning is they could have put him on the 7 day IR and played it week by week. The injury is real. It has bothered him most of the year. I am truly sorry for him. He gave us his all, all year.

Langdon as official of the year??? That's like being the best of the worst and I'm not sure deserves that accolade. I hope the IHL gets better officiating next year. This season has been painful. I'm not being a homer, it was bad on both sides. We deserve better. On a good note...Congrats Nick! Keep up the good work. MVP!

So name you would have given it to. Name who you think did a good job, don't just gripe about it in general.

There is no such thing as 7-day IR any more.

Nice try. He only called one game this year.

Burgee gets my "Official of the Year" nod. The rest of them are terrible. My case in point...look at the game Welker called tonight. Awful! He missed so many blatant calls on both sides. He had no control of the game at all. I'm not griping, just stating the facts. How can you possibly defend the officiating this year? Are you too far up to see? We do deserve better. Can we not find competent refs?

OK, name two who you think do a good job. It does no good just to rip on them all the time if you can't recognize refs who you believe are doing a good job. It's too easy to tune out when the only thing that is expressed is negativity. Who do you think does a good job? Just saying all of them are terrible is not good enough and accomplishes nothing. Are you knowlidgable enough to say who does a good job? It has to work both ways. Who do you think does a good job and why?

And BTW, the captains and the coaches vote on the official of the year, not the media. Think they are close enough to see? LOL.

I honestly can't say we have any that are consistent and deserve that title. Langdon must have won by default. Once again....WE DESERVE BETTER. That's all I'm saying. Since you are the expert Blake, who does a good job game after game? You can't possibly say we had one that outshined the rest this year. I don't think I'm alone here. I'm going with Burgee's pick. One game is good enough for me.

That's why I picked Mondeldummy, Langdon was runner up.

LOL, you're not getting me sucked into this. I actually like some of the refs you guys hate because I think they call the same game night after night, and that's all you can ask for. I know exactly how some of them are going call it. And who ever in their right mind said I was an expert. I've never claimed to be, I just know who to ask.

It's a totally thankless job. There's not enough money in the world for me to take the kind of abuse that they take.

My whole point is if you can't diffentiate enough to say who you think does a good job and why, it kind of negates it when you say they all stink. It's too easy.

I'll go with Croft or Ferguson. Let 'em play! Maybe it's because we see Hawthorne, Welker, Koslowski, and Langdon way too much.

I WILL GET INTO THIS ONLY BECAUSE I TALK TO ALL OF THEM ONE ON ONE. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN MY VOTE TO KOSLOWSKI. EASY TO TALK TOO. MORE THAN WILLING TO EXPLAIN A CALL AS HE SAW IT. HE PRETTY MUCH CALLS EVERY GAME THE SAME WAY. YOU JUST CAN NOT ASK FOR MORE THAN THAT. MY GUESS WE WILL SEE HIM IN THE PLAY-OFFS.
