McSwanky's

I'm not ready for an "upscale McDonald's." Don't think the world is, either:

At 4:30 a.m. Thursday, McDonald's will open its first Fort Wayne restaurant that comes complete with four 42-inch plasma-screen televisions, two drive-through ordering windows, an upscale décor and free wireless Internet access. The store is located at 1103 Goshen Ave.

I've always wondered what kind of person would sit around a coffee shop browsing the Internet on his laptop. But he's certainly miles ahead on the social scale from someone who would hang out at McDonald's doing the same thing.

But hey...it WILL give those armed robbers something OTHER to take than just "all the money, biyatch"....those 42 inch PLASMA sets...coming to a southside rental crib near you...soon.

And I suppose the second drive-thru window will be for the CLOTHED patrons...right?

Gotta love that!

Actually the McD's at Time Corners is very nice too, has a big screen TV and nice places to sit. I frequent McDonald's fairly often and I think it is nice what they are doing.
