He was one of the nicest guys in the print media. You could trust Mike completely with any information you gave him. He had a pretty dry sense of humor. But could really be very funny. If he didn't know about it he knew someone who did. Hard working but totally honest reporting. Reports like him are really rare. In this day and age it is almost impossible to find one. He will be missed. RIP my friend.

I grew up 2 houses from him. Good man. He bought the evening paper from me when I had the area route and continued with my siblings.

I dealt with Mike on several stories and issues and I can tell you that he was always fair and never had an agenda like every other new reporter seems to have these days. Definitely a life lost way too soon. RIP Mr. Dooley
