I'm not one to borrow trouble, but so help me man upstairs, the Frankes better play him. I will be irate if they do the same thing he's been through all season.

Should be interesting... They have hime listed on the roster now (#7)... Hopefully he's not too eager to get going and take what comes his way AND the ref isnt too eager to raise his arm....

Hopefully he can contribute more than his fists. I'd love to see his intimidating presence crashing the net. Doubt that too many people would attempt to change his direction.

BTW JR, Nasty is on the official roster on the Komets web site. So it looks like he will be playing tomorrow night. Also Kfx, the Frankes really have no say on how much playing time he will get I believe that would up to Mr. Sims.

Mightbite, I saw them place him in one of those boxes with the glass front next to the bench that said:

"Break glass in case of Goonery"

:)

You folks are in for a treat. Mirasty is the real deal as far a a scrapper goes, and even better in the community. He will do nearly anything to protect his teammates, taking immense pride in that role. As the stories say, he takes shots to deliver, and the worst thing another player can do is attempt to step back and trade with him. He has a bit of an issue with taller opponents, but if he gets inside he is going to make them pay. Not once while he was in Syracsue, did I see Mirasty ask the officials to step in becasue he was tired. Just the opposite, he will shout at the officials to get away as he is not done with his opponent. His community work is above and beyond what any player normally does. He sets the standard for wich other players should strive to achieve. He was one of the most popular players of all time here, and you flks are gettign a real gem. Here's hoping you enjoy his stay as much as we did. Please keep us informed how he is doing. Thanks.

who was the AHL "tough guy" the K's was supposed to get a couple of years ago & never did ? I think he spent some time in Cincinatti ECHL.

He was actually here but never made it into a game before getting recalled.

Unfortunately, other than the links via syracuse.com (our local newspaper) there are not any true forums. Used to have an awesome one, but the poor guy did not have time for the site and real life issues. Syracuse.com has a section in sports for the Crunch, which many of us comment on. Thanks for the offer. As for Jimmy Bonneau, he and Mirasty had some real wars last year when Bonneau was with the Amerks.

Mirasty has a video of a fight with Bonneau on his own website. It's a couple years old, but good nonetheless....several good fights on that site. I googled "jon nasty mirasty" and it was the first thing that came up, his own website. Click on videos and you'll see a half dozen or so.
