To Blake Sebring i just want to say it has been a pleasure to have worked with you over the years. You are the best beat writer since Bud G passed. Keep up the good work! To the Komets it has been a tough year guys but congrats on making a good run at it. To the Frankes thanks for allowing the "Game of the week" to continue it has been fantastic knowing your family. To all the Komet oldtimers that will carry on in my place. Have fun with Randy and Otto! Most of all to the best hockey fans anywhere i love all of you and will miss being there for Komet hockey. You fans are the reason for the Komet franchise being the best minor league team in the nation!! Since

Thank you Tim for your dedication and love of "Our" Komets.
Someone will replace you but no one can take your place. It has been my pleasure to know you and see you at work. To you it was all a labor of love. To us it was exciting and pure joy to watch and listen. May God bless you and your lovely wife with many years of great retirement. Please come and visit when you can. Your friend I will always remain.

Not to rain on the farewell to Tim Hoke parade (best wishes in the next stage of your life, Tim!) - I didn't have the chance to watch the game on CHL TV. Can anyone let me know what happened with Jesse Schultz - saw he got 2, 10 and a gamer, the 10 & game for Abuse Of Officials. Just curious what he may have done and what may have provoked it, seeing as how Rapid City was up by five goals at the time.

Chuckapuck, Schultz got a highsticked in the face, and McIsaac was standing maybe 2 feet away and didnt make the call. I assume because the outcome of the game was already decided. Schultz said a couple of words to McIsaac which I could only assume were along the lines of "Happy Easter" and got tossed.
Although I dont know Tim personally, from what I've read here the past week, he sounds like a standup guy and did his job well...so best of luck to you and enjoy your retirement
