You can only go to the brink of elimination so many times!! Yes we came back from 3-1 deficets three times but each time you come back the more likely you are going to get bit in the butt and lose. Law of averages. They may win wednesday and friday BUT to think thes can beat this RC team three in a row is just not in the cards! Sorry fans..

Bobby Ryan got a 2 game suspension for stomping down on the top of a Nashville defenseman's skate.... Sounds like this was an accident...

I am sorry Tim, but I have never, not once, gone into a situation not thinking there was a chance of success. Given the way this season started, and the way it is winding down, being down 0-2 is just a necessary part of what will become an epic story...To ultimately by turned into a NYT best selling book by our favorite beat reporter, optioned to Hollywood, becoming the third best hockey movie of all time, making the author rich, and allowing him to retire in the comfort we all deserve.

If I read RULE 48 quotes from this idiot coach anywhere else on the internet I might puke.

It'll be interesting to see what the league rules. I think an unbiased eye wouldn't see anything wrong with the hit.

It looked like O'connor made contact with his right elbow to the chin of the Rapid City player to me. The initial contact was clean to me, and I think the elbow just came as a result of the body twisting from the initial contact. Just how it looked to me.

after looking at the video.. this is nothing more than a unfortunate hockey play. was oconnor supposed to just let the guy waltz into the offensive zone because he didnt have on ice awareness? was shoulder to shoulder check. cant believe suspension is even being mentioned in this situation.

If OC is suspended the CHL will be punishing the result, not the action and that is wrong. Given the suspensions/lack there of this year, I honestly have no clue what to expect...We thought Brad Jones was bad, HA!

I've read at least 14 time today Blake. I'm not suprised to see it again. After watching it multiple times, its hard for me really see any detailed contact. Those of you that allegedly see an elbow make contact with a chin have better eyes than me.

From what I can see the worst that happened was a shoulder to the chin. And it looked like OC tried to skate around and get in front of him to make sure it wasn't a hit from behind, which it could have easily been.

I'm just so sick of the Rush coach and fans trying to make it sound like OC is Matt Cooke and this whole team is like the Broad Street bullies (colors not withstanding). For crying out loud we had Jon Mirasty for the last third of the season and barely used him! This team is anything but a bunch of thugs. Cescon is the closest thing we have to an enforcer. Schrock is the aggitator. Phillips didn't even make the trip. We have a bunch of guys who can and will step up and take care of business if they need to, but not a single player on the roster goes out there to stumble around just looking for someone to maim.

Sims is a terrible coach. Chaulk would make a much better bench leader. The reason for Championships the last 3 years is because the Frankes basically ran the league! Let's be serious, in the CHL or ECHL that would've never happened.
