The Midwest Hockey League is adding a Fort Wayne franchise for the 2009-10 season at McMillen Park Ice Arena. The Class A-level minor league starts the season in November with teams in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Mike DeLong has been named the team's general manager after previously holding the same position with the Findlay Freedom of the former North East Hockey League.

As soon as I sell my book and the movie rights and become richer than J.K. Rowling, I'll set you up, BLB. ;)

Back in the 70's, I was one of the owners of the "el Azteca" restaurant chain. I left without knowing whatever happened to the "huggie bear" softball team. I sponsered the team, but lost contact with everyone involved when I moved to Az. If anybody out there has any info on this slow-pitch team, please give me an update at ( jonnyr26@cox.net). Respectfully yours, Johnny Rodriguez
