Neumie is a class act, always thinking of the team before himself.I have a good feeling that he have not seen the last of him for the play-offs and hope that he goes for 1000 games and finishes in a Komet uniform. Not having him out there for the playoffs really makes me see how important he is to this team!Never flashy but solid.

Agreed. I think I may have underestimated Neumeier's importance. I think I'm more of a defensive minded hockey fan and have had mixed feelings about Neumeier. Now that he is out I can tell that there is a gaping hole in the Komet's defense now. I hope with the addition of Campbell and hopefully Jorde getting out of the little slump he's been in will help solidify the defense.

You don't really notice him until he isn't out there on a regular basis. 1000 minor league games is a true accomplishment. Most do not stick around that long at this level.

I will dare say that if Neumy were playing right now, we would be leading this series instead of Rockford. You don't realize how important a guy like Troy is to your team until he's out of the lineup. He has a promising coaching career in his future. Get well soon, Troy!!

Jorde is going through a "little slump"?? I hadn't noticed.

Hope Troy gets better quick. Class guy and great leader. I wouldn't mind seeing him coach a certain team if a certain coach were to leave .

Does anyone remember that cheapshot against Neumie when we played Quad the year we won the cup and he was knocked out unconscious? If I remember correctly he only missed 1 game after he had that concussion so I wouldn't be surprised to see him back if we make it to the next round.
I agree that he isn't the most finesse dman but when he went down you sure could see the team was rattled and the dmen were scrambling,it was like they had no confidence.
Get better soon Troy and hope to see you play that 1000th game here in the Fort.

Yep most people rate a player by how many points they get,not by how smart they play or how much respect they have from their teammates.I think Troy brings a calming to the defense with his age and experience.(From the sounds of this game we could use his help right now)

These playoffs are not the same without Chaulker and Troy. Some people think 1 or 2 guys don't make a hockey club but I beg to differ.
