Why wouldn't coach not want him there? He is the captain...why not put him behind the bench with the team? On a stool or something. Strange?

Too many Morgan's tonight. Like I said...he stayed behind for a reason. My asumption is they reunite with Chaulk in game 3 and either take the series lead or get back into the series. Its planned. Just a hunch its used as a motivation factor.

I wish I could buy that Scoop, but I don't understand it. I think you'd want any little edge you could get, and you know Chaulker would have been chewing out some of the forwards tonight between periods. Maybe he could have gotten them going.

I am with you Blake....seems like the best place for him is with the team. He is the natural leader. His experience alone would have motivated the guys and may have made a difference tonight. Wonder how he feels being left behind when he has poured lots of his career into this team and franchise. This is a guy that we will watch down the road standing at center ice as his jersey is raised to the rafters. I think the Frankes get him there on Sunday. This is a team. They need him.
