The classiest guys for Port Huron, Flint & Muskegon make Grrrreat Komets. They were classy guys on those teams and they just brought it to the Fort. They are very much appreciated by all Komet fans.

While we cheered against these guys in the past, I'm thrilled to have each of them on the Komets. I hope they know that and we wouldn't be where we are right now without them. Great article Blake. Lets Go Komets.

I never liked patrosso when he played in PH, I think he played with more of an edge then he does with the K's.That may be sims.
Someone with some pull with the Franke try to get something done with the away games.Blake says no.Please help with this as I know it would go good.

Why don't you try doing it yourself, Mightbite?

It shouldn't be that hard to do. Just ask a restaurant that is a Komets sponsor. Tell them that teams and businesses in other CHL cities like Rapid City do this. Maybe call the Komets first and ask them if they would have a problem with it to save yourself and the restaurant some time.

I'm not sure the Komets could have a problem with it as long as it's done live. Unless there is an issue with the CHL Live or NeuLion's (the company that actually does the broadcasts) TOS I don't see how there could be a problem with it.

There might be additional fees due to the broadcasters because of the size of the audience and if admission is charged that could be another issue. As tight as this league is on certain things (like blogging) I'm sure the other towns doing this aren't violating anything. It's probably just a matter of finding someone willing to do it.

I'm really glad you wrote this article Blake. I don't think the average fan thinks that veteran leadership is important until you get to a series like Bloomington. The vets played a huge role in that win whether the average fans knows this or not. These are the leaders that win championships. I may be considered a real horse's rear end for standing up for them all year but maybe some of the fans can see my point of view now.
