Tailing the Komets

Note from Wendy

Just a reminder that the Komets Game of the Week begins Saturday night (at 8pm) and Sunday morning (8am) broadcasts this weekend. I've been told (knock on particle board) that the game airing tonight will be the one filmed April 1st (vs. Dayton). Assuming that is correct, my interview was with Mike Reidt. Here's the blurb:

Mike Reidt will be Wendy Bartle's guest for the next edition of "Fans in the Stands" to be aired during the first intermission of the Komets Game of the Week broadcast that was filmed on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Reidt, who recently became engaged, went to school with and is a close friend of Komets forward and fan favorite Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock.

[sigh]. Yes, I know. It's the April 3rd game (vs. Port Huron). Which would make Danielle Thompson the guest. Here's the blurb for that one, then:
------------------------------------------------------
On a special Easter weekend edition of "Fans in the Stands", Wendy will be joined by 7-year-old Danielle Thompson. Thompson is a big fan of former Komet Olivier Legault, who befriended her last season and gave her a jersey with his name on it. This season, she has come to admire Komets defenseman Frankie DeAgnelis, whom she asked to score a goal for her on her birthday. DeAngelis wound up scoring not 1, but 2 goals that night. Not only did he remember Danielle's request, he later gave her the puck from the first goal as a present.
--------------------------------------------------------
And yes, we are a Three Stooges Production. Nyuk, Nyuk.

BTW, I guess this means that the episode with Mike Reidt's interview is the one that apparently aired last Tuesday. Yes, Tuesday (or so I was told), and no, there was no announcement of any kind. So now we have a mythical "lost episode" plus one that did air but that no one knew was going to be on.
