Notre Dame hosting free clinic

Members of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Hockey team, along with former Fort Wayne Komet and current Irish Associate Coach Paul Pooley, will teach a free youth hockey clinic at the Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, November 21. The clinic will start at 12:00 p.m.

The No. 8 ranked Fighting Irish will be in town for their “home” game against the Michigan State Spartans at the Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, November 22 at 4:00 p.m. All participants in the clinic will receive a voucher for a free ticket to the game, redeemable at the Memorial Coliseum Ticket Office.

The clinic's instruction will be geared towards PeeWee level players, aged 12 and under. All participants should provide their own equipment. Dressing rooms will be available for changing before and after the clinic.

Awww, man....this is so cool!! Too bad my kid will still be at practice at McMillan. He may have been a bit young anyway, at 9 and a Mite going on Squirt level. Well, maybe next time. Because I'm guessing there will be a next time with this new rink in town. I hope so, anyway. Very cool of these guys.
