Outstanding article, Blake!

I have been fairly vocal about wanting to see some fresh faces this season and I will stick with that opinion...

I keep the young guys, see how they mature thoughout the season and let it rip come playoff time...

Give Warner, Drouin, and Thomas the opportunity to find work elsewhere. LaPointe gets the nod for third line center due to his strength at the faceoff dot and his defense...

JR1 be careful of being too vocal...you might get called an expert by the tired people LOL.

Great article Blake. I hope they have some patience with the young guys. They had patience with the older guys the last few years when they slepwalked through the first two months of the season. If Sims can coach (and I believe he can) then his job will be to mold the youth into a cohesive unit.

Not gonna change my tune now Snuff.... I want to see the new crop of Komets favorites this season...

Even McDonalds changes their menu every so often....

Great Artice Blake!

I have to agree, if we are leaning one way or another....lean towards the younger more talented harder working guys now while you have the chance at these guys. If you don't, these guys will be burning you the rest of the year...and you might run into some coasting until the holidays or beyond again.

Let's do it right the first time this year. We have solid one 2 punches right now with Chaulk-Benne and Smith-Chaumont....you could add a rookie on each of those lines and a physical and quick 3rd line and this team will be set.

Where do you put the slower older vets on this roster?

Lean towards the better players.

I was looking forward to seeing Yngwe on the ice. I'm guessing the Ks let him go out of respect as he likely would have started the season as the extra forward waiting for a teammate injury before receiving a real opportunity. Curious to see where Eric lands.

Okay so is it 19 or 20 for the roster limit because i am seeing both in different articles from around the CHL.

Blake your article says 20 so that is why i was asking.

I'd take Later in FW....So if it's 19, 3 guys have to go then.

I think I got confused because they always put one guy on IR. I'm wondering if Later doesn't have consussion problems.

Later has always been a loose cannon.... Rules tightening are going to phase out players such as Later...

All I could find was 19 for the roster; but the do have 3, 10 day IR spots available if they would want to give a couple guys a longer look....

Cohn must be in right field because he has an article that says 20 and they are cutting 2 guys.

"The Komets have 22 players left in camp and must cut two by Thursday, and they are both likely to be forwards."

I have seen they can play 18. We know this.

I have read 20 in several places.
