Komets in 5..... If Komets play like they did Saturday against the 2nd place team in the league, bloomington should be no problem. Lets go Komets

K's in four. After this week against Dayton and Colorado, the K's stepped it up big time and showed up against the best team in the conference. Bloomington, needing points for playoff positioning, limps into the first round with, what, 3 of the last four including two to Evansville, even if it was an OT game today?

sorry, post cut off before I finished.
The K's record may not be the best against Bloomington this season, but I see them winning Game 2 there, and coming home with the momentum.

Komets in 5, we take advantage of Granbois' stupidity and score on all the power plays he gives us. Bloomingtons coach ejected in game 5 for giving it to the Ref's who deserve it.
bring it on, taking all betters, Komets will finish playoffs no less than runner up.

Bloomington in five. Will any team score 5 goals in a game this series? I don't think so.

Komets in 4....I was hoping for this matchup as the speed isn't as much of an issue with Bloomington as it is against Rapid City. I'd say something about playoff experience here and Bloomington never making a playoff, but, then again nobody on this Bloomington team has been there the past 3 years.
Also, there will be more interference and holding calls in this round than any playoff series ever.

Komets in 3!!!!!!
I said it first.
I think alot of 71%'s turn into 100s.
Boucher has hit his stride and is back in the zone.
He can steal 3 games...game 2 he gets one of those things where the other team shoots the puck a bunch of times and never hits the back on the net with a one of them.
Nighty Night Friends.

Depends on the goaltending.
Note to Burgee: Granbois always seems to score a goal when he plays against the Komets. Better tone down the rhetoric, we know your accuracy when you predict stuff.

Burgee predictions = the Komets kiss of death....
Blake, you may want to outlaw predictions for the payoffs...we know how well they do...lol
Bloomy averaged a tad over half a goal better than thier season average against the Komets... The Komets, a tad under... Bloomy, I thought, capitalized well on Komet miscues this season.

In the games I have seen with them against Bloomington I thought the Komets handled their trap well. They had scoring chances. The problem was (especially the last game) hitting the net instead of the boards or glass behind it.

Five games - each team wins once in the other's building to send it to a fifth game.
Fort Wayne wins game 1, Bloomy wins game 2, FW wins game 3, Bloomy wins game 4 - possibly 1 or 2 games decided in OT.
In game five, OT no less, Lardner gets the game-winner as Chaulk digs the puck out of the corner and fires it to the front of the net for a road series win.
Grip it and rip it

Bloomy in 4 Ks will win the first home game a that is it. Ks goalies will be asleep at the being of the game and let in week goals just like all year. Both teams are low scoring and the Ks will not be able to recover from the sleeping goalies.
