You can get the Komets one thing and one thing only for Christmas, be it a specific player, a characteristic, a new sweater. What would it be? Yes, $1 beer night would be one thing and it would probably last only one time.

My 12 Days of Komet Kristmas
Day 1- Mac is Back. (Just in time to make a boring QC game tolerable)
Day 2- I want to see PC Drouin skate! Not coast, skate!
Day 3- I want KometNation to show Bobby Phillips some love, hard worker, never takes a shift off.
Day 4- One game, no hooks from Guy.
Day 5- Bertram going +5 with a goal, an assist, and a beatdown on a Muskegon player all in 1 game, then retire to fighting fires. (There's a blaze of glory reference here...)
Day 6- Brandon Warner healthy for an entire week.
Day 7- Big Snake vs. MacMillan strait up, none of RBS's chickening out behind the back goonery.
Day 8- Two turtle doves to shove into Robin Bouchard's fat mouth. I hate hearing that guy talk.
Day 9- Colin Chaulk assist-a-palooza..
Day 10- People getting off of Varone's back and accepting he got jinxed by a certain BlogBoss..
Day 11- A bat to beat people who cut into the bobblehead line.
Day 12- Please Santa, when I grow up I want to be as cool, charasmatic, and tough as Larry Sterling.
According to Blake "The best option is to rely on the veterans to come around and do their usual leadership job." So, in light of both the current situation and the Christmas season, I would like to propose the following for my 1 item. We need a Komet version of "A Christmas Carol". We need ghosts of Komets past, present, and future to come visit everyone on the team. The ghosts need to shake up the players, get them out of the doldrums, and back to playing strong productive hockey. They need to make them see the light.
For fun, everyone can envision who the ghosts would be and what they would do with the players they vist. Hey! Remember this is the Christmas season, be semi-nice. In any case we can all hope that the players have an epiphany and change their uncaring, miserly play. Of course, in the end we have Tiny Tim (Haun) echoing "And God Bless Us, Everyone!"

I look at it this way: Many who have watched hockey much longer than myself (sorry, I'm just not that old, I mean experienced yet) have continually told me that the Komets are always "like this" until after Christmas. So, while it is a major stretch for me, I will be patient for nearly an entire two weeks that are left until that excuse won't work anymore.
So let's see... Well, I could use my wish and ask for my other team to not lose... Oh wait, the Colts haven't lost... Well, all-in-all I guess I'm pretty bleeping fortunate in the grand scheme of things and don't really need anything. So, in the spirit of Christmas, I just wish for everyone to have a great holiday, safe travels, and enjoy those who are most important to you. Merry Christmas to everyone!
By the way, I do retain the right to do a complete 180 if I see more laziness and lack of effort sluffing up and down the ice tonight ;)
