Great photos!

Number 1 star of the game should go to Bobby Phillips. Stopped a 3-on-1 and has blocked a number of shots. He was even on the point during the powerplay. He's been our most consistent d-man this season Great game so far, Bobby!

The number one star should have gone to all of the D-men! What a perfect game played by the defense!!! More than just Philips laid out to block a shot or two. GREAT GAME!!!

Bobby Phillips just played one of the best games I've seen in a long, long, time by a defenseman.

Cheers to Phillips. I agree, what an outstanding play he made and just another typical great game by him as a good young Defenseman, our best all year long.

Now, I send cheers to the Frankes for allowing Al Sims to make the best use of his team tonight. Which leads to this:

Keith Rodger was outstanding tonight. He made Bertram look better because Bert didn't have to carry around the other D-man he has been carrying around the past month or so. Keith can actually clear the front of the net, make a body-check, carry the puck out of the zone, and make passes that reach his teammates tape on their blades. Finally the best Defensive pairings were on the ice tonight, and it was obvious.

Hukalo makes a difference out there. He makes plays. He goes to the net. He stands in front of the net and is willing to take a beating for his team. Give him 2 weeks and he willl be on a role.

OC is our best player right now. He is peaking at the right time.

Leo continues to play awesome. He has been our best player this year consistantly all year ad deserves praise.

Haun has been great. Who out there is second guessing keeping Haun, and letting Tyler go? Anyone? Bueller?

Bloomington is spent. They started the year looking great, I thought they were one of the top teams to beat.....they are uninspired and hurt right now too. How much longer does Skalde get to run this team??? He is over-rated as a coach.

And finally....I am thinking I better get ahold of Brendan Savage and see if he can help me locate a sharp looking Flint General jersey with the name Duhart on the back of it.....since the Generals are on a role right now and looking like a playoff team, and a team no one will want to play in the first round, or any round at this point.

And if I have to wear the Flint colors, I might as well go all out and go Jimmy Duhart on you all.

Oh, I forgot.

Very nice effort tonight by the team. That looked 20 times better than the Flint games.

Great game tonight Komets. Bring your "A" game this weekend and stick it to the FuryJacks and the LarryHawks.

Wow, did Alan and HitSomebody get their medicines mixed up. I have personally written smaller books. I mean real books.

Phillips is the man..

Leo laid the smack down.

Rodger is a vast improvement on defesne with Bertram.

Getting Huk back helps a lot.

The Komets looked really good tonight and it was a fun game to watch (and I didn't even have a single beer). I'm really not used to seeing that type of effort on a Wednesday night. Great job guys, that is what myself and some others have been talking about wanting to see all season! Keep it up!

Good win against a team the K's should beat; but one easily lost if the K's were focused on this coming weekend's big games instead of the game at hand, well done. Now the real test comes this weekend when they face the top of the league... Last nights effort plus some will be needed against the Icehawks and Lumberjacks.

Great overall team defense last night. Forwards were playing low, D-men were staying with their guys in the defensive zone and it was a good thing because Haun was fighting the puck alot in those first two periods; but came out solid in the third. The boards even rattled a lil last night... Good stuff...

Anyone else notice the edge that Mironovic has been playing with the last couple months? I like it, he's using that big frame more to punish forwards and is playing with a definite edge with some snarl... Hope he keeps it up...

Chwedoruk, O'Connor, and Thomas are our best forwards right now. I love the energy they bring to the ice each shift, now if they could only bottle that and force feed it to Syro, that guy is in a serious need of some pep in his game right now...
