As I exited the Coliseum parking lot I tuned my radio to 1190AM to listen to Bob Chase's comments. Unfortunately a saddened Bob Chase revealed that his sister-in-law ( Murph's sister) passed away this weekend.

Life sometimes has a cruel way of reminding us what is and what isn't important. The Komets 2-1 win tonight pales as I know that Mr. Chase feels a loss that cannot be explained or shared by any of us.

What we can do is offer our sympathies and let him know how much we appreciate him and how much we support him and his family at this time.

From listenimg to him all these years I know he is a man of great faith. Faith is a wonderful thing and I know that in times of loss it is something that one can grab a hold of for support.

The great promise is that one day we will all be re-united.

To Bob Chase, Murph, and his entire family, my family extends its heartfelt sympathy. May the peace of God comfort you all in this time of loss.

Well said Alan. Bob has more people that care about him than he knows, my prayers to him and his family.
